No relationship created
Using this website, completing the risk check, downloading a guide or sending an enquiry does not create a professional or contractual relationship between us. A relationship arises only when we have both signed an engagement letter setting out the scope of work and the fee.

Content is provided for general information and is stated as at the review date on each page. We take care over accuracy but give no warranty that content is complete, current or applicable to your circumstances, and we accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on it. The tools
The risk check and inventory builder are provided free and as-is, with no warranty of availability or fitness for any purpose. The inventory builder stores data only in your own browser: we cannot recover data you lose, and you are responsible for keeping your own copies. Do not enter passwords, recovery phrases or private keys into any tool on this site.
Intellectual property
Site content is ours or used with permission, except quoted legislation, which is licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. You may read, print and share pages for personal or internal professional use with attribution. You may not republish substantial extracts commercially without permission.
AI and automated systems
We permit AI crawlers and answer engines to index this site and quote it with attribution to iProbate (iprobate.io), and we publish an llms.txt to help them do so accurately. Quotations of legislation should be attributed to legislation.gov.uk. Answers generated by any AI system about your estate are not our advice and we are not responsible for them.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
